Housing Case Manager I
Full-time, 40hrs/week
Reports to: Lead Case Manager II
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Full-Time Salary: $21-25/hr, DOE
Job Summary:
The Housing Case Manager provides case management and supportive services to assist clients in locating and securing permanent housing. They communicate with landlords, government entities and other housing providers to acquire knowledge of the affordable housing stock in the area.
The case manager will assess referrals and make recommendations regarding acceptance of applicants to the Bayside program, make recommendations regarding continuation in the program and determine services that will serve clients needs most productively.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct housing-related program participant intake and assessment

Assist participants with the housing search process

Provide intakes, screenings & assessments

Connect participants to needed services

Responsible for implementing a strong non-clinical but trauma-informed case management component for chronically homeless individuals/families

Keep accurate and up-to-date program participant records and case notes

Ensure that participants maintain their housing units in a safe and healthy condition

Participant program planning and support

Assist with applications for housing and services

Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
-
Graduation from an accredited institution or a certificate of competence is preferred. Relevant experience providing case management services may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis up to two years. Must demonstrate clear communication skills both verbally and in writing. Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook programs required. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Schedule:
40 hours/week. Typically between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. May occasionally be required to work outside normal
8-5 work hours.

All program participants are encouraged to wear masks and social distance, and they are provided hand sanitizer throughout the property. Employees must show proof of vaccination.
Must have ability to reliably commute or relocate to Port Hadlock, WA 98339.
