A self-taught pianist with no formal training, Johnny Z Glatzer performs entirely by ear, emulating his idol, the legendary Erroll Garner. As a performing concert collagist, his piano work blends melody, rhythm, and tone with a driving left hand to create a bold, soulful sound. Johnny doesn’t follow sheet music, he plays from pure feeling, crafting each piece in the moment. His music is alive with energy and emotion, making it nearly impossible not to tap your toes or move your feet.
